The work of Advantage Africa is made possible by many charitable trusts and foundations, most of whom support specific projects in Kenya and Uganda. Grant-makers large and small have enabled us to establish vital services for disabled people, start schools for orphaned and vulnerable children and run life-saving HIV services in rural areas.
All our projects are designed with our trusted partners in East Africa to deliver clear and measurable outcomes that improve the lives of people living in poverty. Income and expenditure is tracked on our accounting system as restricted funds set up for this purpose and provides a transparent audit trail of how funds are used.
Jane Young, Director of the Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust says.
Advantage Africa have proved that they can deliver development with real impact on the ground. They make every grant work hard to achieve a great deal and very importantly, they report to us in the sort of detail that gives us great confidence.
See a project report to the Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust, which provides an example of Advantage Africa’s accountability to donors.
